Tech Schedule

Please do not schedule any events for the week before the performance or performance weekend. At times we need to call extra rehearsals or rehearsals may run later than expected. We ask parents to set aside this week and weekend for the performance.

Tech rehearsal is the best time for parents to take non-flash photography and video of their dancers in costume.

All dancers must arrive half an hour before their call time listed below in order to put their costumes on. Dancers should be sure to have their hair in a bun unless noted otherwise. All nail polish and jewelry should be removed for Tech and Performances.

Trish Haldin will be taking photos backstage and at the Dress Rehearsal. They are generally available for purchase a month after the performance.

Video is taken during the final performance and the DVDs take several months to receive. We will email you when they arrive at the studio.

All dancers in Level 3A and under must be supervised during Tech Rehearsal. However, Dress Rehearsal on Saturday is closed to families and is a drop off. We ask that all families be at the High School by 3:00 for pick-up following Dress Rehearsal. Please understand that you may need to wait for your dancer to be finished.

FineLine will provide pizza and water for a cast party held at the high school on Saturday evening following the performance. Families are welcome to bring something to share or to donate to the concession stand at the performance. We ask that items donated to concessions be individually divided for sale for $1.

Costume Notes

Just a reminder that dancers should not be sent with nude under leos, jewelry or nail polish.

All Angels and Attendants should have two pairs of new pink tights and their ballet slippers for the performances. Mice will not wear tights or underclothing under their unitards.  All make-up for Angels and Attendants/Mice/Soldiers will be done by backstage volunteers with the exception of Level 3B Mice who will do their own make-up.

Soldiers need black slippers.  Black jazz shoes are fine.  Dancers can also look in the bin to see if there is a pair of ballet slippers that fit.

Mice - Mice should come with their hair in two messy buns(their ears) and with pins and brush for their hair to be changed into by the volunteers backstage during intermission.  MIce will be wearing just their unitard without underwear, tights or an under leo.  They will change into tights during intermission for their attendant costume.

Grandfather's Dance - Hair should be half up and half down and curled in ringlets.
