| Acting I-III: Students learn basic techniques with an emphasis on theatre games, improvisation, and ensemble work. They will continue with the exploration of acting techniques, monologues, and beginning scene study. Classic playwrights, such as Shakespeare, will be introduced in a relaxed and accessible forum. Advanced classes will include scene study, performance, and audition techniques. A performance will be held at semester’s end.
Acting IV: Students will develop an understanding of written drama, plots, conflict, and characterization. They will dramatize their own work and perform in a showcase attended by industry professionals.
